There has been a tremendous amount of news and publications about the new 2010 Porsche GT3. And here is your first look, as GMG has taken delivery of the first one, and already started development of the upgrades and enhancements.
GMG intends to fully exploit the performance potential of this new GT3 (new model now known as the 998 vs the current generation 997) as well as utilizing some of the latest R&D from their racing program to develop the latest performance parts for the iconic Porsche.
GMG will be the first Tuner in North America to offer a complete tuning package for the new 2010 GT3 as they have started the process one day after picking up the car.
GMG’s World Challenge signature cars are also available as complete serialized automobiles or as individual performance packages, including the new GT3. All of these kits, parts, cars, and solutions are available from BRracing, GMG’s Northern California installation and solution center.
Currently GMG has a complete performance tuning package available and will have their own signature fully forged center lock wheel scheduled to be released on 9/15/2009.
The World Challenge (WC-GT3) performance package is consists of several options:
GMG WC Sport Center Section Exhaust
GIAC Software with stock and 91 and 100 octane programs (coming soon)
GMG WC Complete Sport Exhaust system which includes equal length headers, 200 cell sport catalyst and muffler
GMG WC Sport Camshafts with Titanium retainers and sport valve springs.
Custom tuned software by GIAC
Includes CNC ported cylinder heads
GMG WC 4.0 liter engine complete with new pistons, rods, sport camshafts, CNC cylinder heads, complete exhaust, software tuning and lightweight flywheel and clutch.

GMG is working with Stoptech brakes and offers two packages for the new GT3.
includes the new lightweight STR calipers with 6 piston front and 4 piston rear which save weight and improve braking performance over stock steel brakes.
includes the new lightweight STR calipers and Stoptech’s NEW Ceramic rotors which save weight over the factory PCCB brake upgrade.
All Stoptech brake systems are matched to the vehicle’s master cylinder and ABS system.
GMG offers two options for customers who want additional safety for track use. Clients can choose from the “Cup” harness bar or the “RSR” bar. Both are made to meet or exceed safety requirements of several sanctioning bodies in North America. These bars are made of Chromoly tubing that has been TIG welded and fully normalized and do not require any cutting of the vehicle for installation.
GMG offers complete gearbox upgrades for track use with multiple ratio’s available to the customer. We can custom match the gearbox ratio’s to different tracks across the country, while also offering LSD upgrades utilizing motorsport clutch pack and revised ramp angles for improved performance from the street and track.
GMG currently offers several lightweight body configurations, from stock replacement carbon composite panels to World Challenge wide body fenders that allow for wheels that are up to 10.5″ wide in the front and 12″ in the rear.
GMG introduces its signature World Challenge wheels for the new GT3. Made to TUV specifications GMG’s ultra light wheels are fully forged and made in the USA. Scalloped spoke design for optimum cooling and strength.
Wheels are fully compatible with Porsche’s new “street’ center lock system and are available in 19×9 front and 19x 12 rear, 19x 10.5 are available for customers who are utilizing the GMG wide front fenders.
